Foxton Scooter Park Fundraising Group
FSPFG is a group of adults and children raising money to build a skatepark in Foxton, to be used by the young people of the village.The Parish Council has made available an area of land on the Recreation Ground, which they have agreed can be used for this purpose. With the Parish Council’s help we have consulted within the community and identified a strong desire for the skatepark to be built. Since we began fundraising in earnest in September 2012 we have raised a significant amount of money, close to £5000. To date we have held a pub quiz, sold wrist bands and helped to put on a pantomime at Melbourn Village College in January 2013. As well as bag packing in Morrisons and holding a table top sale over the summer, we are currently planning the fun run.

We are also now applying for grant funding and hope to be in a position to start work on the park in 2014.
